Ingredients Measurements
Butter 1 cup (2 sticks)
Sugar 1/2 cup
Almond Extract 2 tsp
All-Purpose Flour 2 1/2 cups
Raspberry Jam, sifted As needed for filling, approximately 12 oz
Powdered Sugar As needed for dusting

❀ Instructions ❀

  1. Cream together the room temperature butter and the sugar
  2. Add the almond extract
  3. Slowly sift in the flour, making sure that everything is well incorporated
  4. Chill dough in the refrigerator while prepping the jam, and set the oven to 350℉
  5. Thoroughly stir the raspberry jam and press it through a sieve to remove seeds
  6. Once chilled, remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll to approximately 1/4 inch thickness
  7. Cut the dough using a preferred cookie cutter; for the classic linzer shape, this cookie cutter set is a great choice
  8. Sandwich the cookies together with the sifted jam, and sprinkle the finished product with powdered sugar
  9. Enjoy!


Cinnamon Cupcakes

Butter 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Eggs 2
Milk 1 cup
Baking Powder 2 tsp
Cinnamon, ground 1 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
All-Purpose Flour 2 cups

  1. Set the oven to 350℉ and prepared cupcake tins with paper liners or oil
  2. Cream together the room temperature butter and the sugar
  3. Slowly incorporate the eggs and the milk
  4. Add the baking powder and flavorings (cinnamon, salt, and vanilla), avoid overmixing
  5. Add the flour in stages, slowly, and mix till thoroughly combined.
  6. Spoon batter into cupcake tins until the 3/4 mark
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean

Cream Cheese Icing for Cupcakes

Ingredients Measurements
Butter 1/2 cup (1 stick)
Cream Cheese 8 oz
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
Powdered Sugar 4 cups

  1. Cream together the room temperature butter and the cream cheese
  2. Add the vanilla extract
  3. Slowly sift in the powdered sugar, starting on low and slowly increading speed to prevent spillage
  4. Add a splash of water at a time until the desired consistency
  5. Frost the cooled cupcakes with your choice of utensil
  6. Enjoy!


Apple Pie

Cinnamon 2 tsp
Butter 1/2 stick
Vanilla Extract 1 1/2 tsp
All-Purpose Flour 3 tbsp
Sugar 1 cup
Pie dough rounds, store-bought or pre-made 2

  1. Set the oven to 350℉ and prepare apples by peeling them and cutting them into even slices
  2. Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, ensuring everything is well incorporated
  3. Add combined ingredients to a large pan and stir consistently until the sauce has thickened and the apples are slightly soft, approximately 8-12 minutes
  4. Set the filling aside to cool, then prep your pie dish with your dough, pressing the bottom round into the dish and poking holes with a fork to prevent bubbling
  5. Pour in the cooled apple pie filling and cover with the second round of dough
  6. Seal the edges with a fork or by pressing them together and brush with an egg wash (one egg and a bit of water) for a shiny finish
  7. Cover the pie with aluminum foil and bake for about 50 minutes to an hour, removing the foil towards the end to prevent over-browning
  8. Cool and enjoy!
